Everyone should arrive no less than 30 minutes prior to their reserved time ready for orientation.

You are renting a time block.

If you are late and miss that time block you will still pay for that time because no one else can utilize that equipment because it was held for you.

Example: Jet Ski Reservation

Booked 1:00 pm – 2:00pm

Your arrival time is no later than 12:30 pm ready at the window with ID’s, boat license and credit cards in hand.

Photo ID of all drivers.

Boat license for all operators born in 1988 or after.

Card holder must be present with their Photo ID and Credit Card. Waterproof bags, reading glasses, cell phones, shoes to wear down docks, sunblock.

You will not be allowed to rent without proper ID and credit card. You will be charged for your reserved time if you show up unprepared.

Why can’t I bring someone else’s ID & credit card to rent your equipment?

It is against the law for me to accept a credit card and ID from someone other than the card holder. They must be present and capable of reading, understanding and signing all paperwork.

Florida law states it is illegal to operate without a valid ID on board at all times. Boater’s license must also be carried where applies. There are glove boxes onboard for storing items like ID, boater’s license, cell phones, etc. They are not water tight so having a water tight bag is suggested.

Orientation is typically 30 minutes depending on prior boating knowledge. Disruptive parties will cut into their rental if they are not listening & following instruction. Rentals will be denied if H2O feels you are disregarding safety procedures being given.

If you are late your orientation will not be shortened to get you on the water. You will still go through the full safety orientation as required by FL livery law.

Orientation will cover everything from rules of the road, basic boat & jetski operation, how to navigate our waterways, liability waivers and rental agreements.

You are solely responsible for any and all damages of all equipment while it is in your possession. Inspecting the equipment is your responsibility before leaving. Keeping count of all items you take such as, life vest, snorkel sets, fishing poles, etc.

H2O Watersportz encourages you to take photos before leaving the dock with the attendant. Point out any damage you see prior to leaving for peace of mind upon your return.

It is your responsibility to return to the dock on time.

If you pay for an hour time block you must return to the dock when that time block has expired. If you left late due to being unprepared it does not entitle you to returning past your time block. If you violate this you will be charged accordingly.

Chris & Blossom are the only people who authorizes extended times.

If you take extra time without approval from owners Chris or Blossom you will be charged the penalty fee of $15 per 5 minutes. Your time stops when your ski or boat arrives to the docks.

You will be charged accordingly. This is not negotiable. You pay for an hour, use an hour. Not an hour and 15 minutes. You would not appreciate it if you pay for an hour and we only give you 45 minutes.

If you leave late due to being unprepared you will not be allowed to exceed your on water time block you reserved.

Our very detailed orientation is a valuable tool.

Listening carefully while your attendant is giving instructions is very important to your knowledge on how to avoid mentioned obstacles.

While operating in the channel you could still get grass in the jet ski or on the boat intake.

However, you will not run aground in the marked channel!

Getting the grass cleared immediately will prevent the engine from overheating. If you overheat the engine, you must allow it to cool down before operating. This process can not be rushed.

Each attempt to start an engine while hot will prolong the cool down in the over heat cycle.

NEVER OPERATE A BOAT WITH A WARNING BUZZER SOUNDING!

$75 Grass removal fee is for those who have rented a vessel but refuse to get in the water to clean their intake. This is a necessity if you clog the intake. It does not just go away. You must clean that intake to avoid damaging the engine and costing you a lot of money in the process.

Grass removal is a part boating in our waterway.

Operating a vessel with a clogged intake will damage the engine. You will be given instruction numerous times before leaving on how to prevent this from happening or how to remedy the situation if you find yourself in the grass flats.

If you do not intend on removing the grass from the intake. Do not book a rental. Take a tour instead.

Our riding area is huge! Tampa Bay to Sarasota Bay as well as the gulf coast of Anna Maria Island. You are only limited by the amount of time you purchase. We will tell you where you are able to go with your time purchased. If you go outside of this area and we must dispatch assistance there will be an hourly rate of $150 per hour, minimum of 1 hour.

Never attempt to load or dock your vessel without assistance. You need wait outside of the marina at idle until the attendant is on the dock to bring you in 1 at a time. Never come in more than 1 vessel at a time.

You are responsible for any and all damages to our equipment. Your damage will be assessed and charged upon return.

We encourage you to photo your equipment prior to departing on the vessel.

$100 per inch of damage, both vertically and horizontally.

Structural or engine damage will be assessed at the time of return (this will not be cheap).

$875 per day of downtime if the equipment can not be rented until repaired.

Fiberglass damage is expensive to repair and takes a long amount of downtime so keeping a safe distance from everyone and everything while aboard our equipment is important.

If you would not bump up against a buddies truck with your truck to talk, don’t do it with my skis.

Plain and simple “You break it, you pay for it”

In the rare case equipment is totaled you are responsible for replacement cost of that equipment the day of your damage.

The electronic waiver is for liability release & fit to participate.

It must be filled out for every participant from baby to adult.

Please fill that out prior to arrival. Service for many providers is spotty at our office and can cause delays in your rental time.
